The World of Figure Skating Comes to Tampere in March 2027

The ISU Figure Skating World Championships are among the most prestigious and widely followed events in the sport. Each year, the championships bring together the world’s best men, women, pairs and ice dance couples to compete for world titles in four disciplines.

The 2027 championships will take place from 16–21 March at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland. This marks the fourth time Finland hosts the ISU World Figure Skating Championships and the first time the event is held in Tampere.

Known for its strong event expertise and vibrant city culture, Tampere provides an exceptional stage for international sport. Its compact city centre, excellent transport connections and welcoming atmosphere create an accessible and engaging experience for both domestic and international visitors.

Opened in December 2021, Nokia Arena is one of Europe’s most modern multi-purpose arenas. It offers world-class facilities for athletes, media and spectators alike, and will serve as the stage where the 2027 world champions are crowned.

The ISU Figure Skating World Championships Tampere 2027 combine elite sport, Nordic energy and unforgettable moments on ice.
